Rachel and Jim are passionate educators who have combined their talents to create resources and supports for other practitioners.
Rachel is a fierce advocate for increasing student engagement and productive language in the classroom. She has a Master's degree in Second Languages and cultures and has experience teaching K-12 students. Rachel shines the brightest when teaching at the elementary level. Her multimodal learning approach infused with high expectations creates an environment of learners working at their true potential.
Jim is an assistant principal with an unwavering belief in all children. He works hard to create strong relationships with all of his students. This results in students spending less time in his office and more time in the classroom.
Jim is the type of administrator who can take data from a table and extrapolate it into valuable and applicable interventions.
Rachel and Jim are not only partners in education but in life as well. They both work full-time in schools, navigate a blended family household, and manage to feed, chauffeur, support, and love four teenage children under one roof.
Their life is busy. Their life is crazy. But they wouldn't trade it for the world!
